Dr Nadine Hachach-Haram, founder and CEO of Proximie, who is on a mission to digitalise the world’s operating rooms, has been confirmed as a keynote for Digital Health AI and Data 2023.
As a former surgeon, Dr Hachach-Haram drew on her passion for innovation and her clinical experiences to build Proximie, an augmented reality platform that allows surgeons to collaborate remotely. It enabled an UK doctor to perform life-saving robotic surgery with guidance from a US-based specialist surgeon who was almost 5,000 miles away.
She recently told Digital Health News that ‘now is the time to use the technologies already familiar and available to us to build the operating room of the future: artificial intelligence, robotics, speech recognition, smart data-sharing devices, AR or VR’.
Join us at Digital Health’s AI and Data event on 30-31 October to hear more about Dr Hachach-Haram’s start-up journey and her vision to utilise digital technologies such as AI to create the borderless operating room of the future, interconnecting the world’s best clinicians.
AI & Data is free for NHS, public sector, non-for-profit and third sector providers, charitable sectors, academics and researchers.
