We developed a mortality risk predictor using routinely collected physiological and pathological variables for acute admissions to our and a neighbouring trust (4 hospitals). We reanalysed the data for covid-19 and made the scores available to clinicians after the first wave of the pandemic to aid escalation planning and encourage end of life goal discussions where appropriate.
