Hear directly from Ming about the latest advancements of the NHS’s national data strategy. Dr Ali will provide insights into the ambitious “Our Future Health” research programme, which aims to recruit 5 million volunteers. Having already collected data from 100,000 individuals, the initiative is poised to redefine early disease detection and prevention. Together, they will offer a comprehensive look at the upcoming horizons of healthcare data and research.
Ming Tang

Ming has over 20 years’ experience in managing and delivering large scale change involving implementation of new operating models in complex and challenging environments.
She joined the NHS in October 2009, initially leading commissioning support services in the West Midlands as the Managing Director for Healthcare Commissioning Services and then as the Managing Director for South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Commissioning Support Unit.
Ming is currently the Chief Data and Analytics Officer for NHS England responsible for strategic development of data and analytics capability across NHS.
Dr Raghib Ali
Chief Medical Officer & Joint Chief Investigator, Our Future Health
Raghib is a clinical epidemiologist whose research is focused on the causes, prevention and treatment of diseases including diabetes, heart disease and cancer. He has spent the last 15 years at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and New York University working on similar studies, including UK Biobank, and is the Principal Investigator for the UAE Healthy Future Study. He is also a Consultant in acute medicine at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
