Professor James Teo is a Professor of Neurology at Kings College Hospital, and Clinical Director of Data Science and AI at Kings College Hospital and Guys & St Thomas Hospital. He has led clinical AI and data science teams in NHS acute provider organisations, academic health science centres (Kings Health Partners) and Integrated Care Systems. His interest is in clinical natural language processing (Cogstack) and machine vision (AI Centre for Value-based Healthcare), and in scalable solutions for MLOps in healthcare.

Barbara Rafferty is Head of Digital Innovation at Guys & St Thomas’ Hospital, where she ensures NLP technologies deliver value to the Trust and our patient populations. Following a career in the Civil Service, she joined the NHS 7 years ago and has led a number of successful digital transformation programmes. She is a lawyer and economist by background.
