Proximie founder and CEO Nadince Hachach-Haram is a practicing NHS Surgeon, lecturer and award-winning clinical entrepreneur. In developing Proximie, Nadine drew on her passions for innovation, education and, most significantly, improving access to safe surgical care worldwide to create a solution that CNN has dubbed the “Future of Surgery”.
Dr Ben Maruthappu
Founder & CEO, Cera
Ben is a London-based doctor and Co-founder of Cera, a multi-award winning technology company transforming elderly care. He advised the CEO of NHS England on £100 billion of health spending, co-founding the NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) which benefitted 3 million people in its first six months. He also serves on the Board of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, a pioneering $1.5 billion revenue hospital group in London
He has a strong interest in research with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 75 academic awards. Ben has advised a range of organisations, from startups to multilaterals, including the Swiss government, Bain & Co. and the WHO. He is Chairman of the UK Medical Students’ Association (UKMSA), and has authored three medical books
Ben was educated at Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard universities. He was listed in WIRED’s Top 10 Innovators in Healthcare, and was named Disruptive Leader of the Year.
Dr Elina Naydenova
CEO & Co-Founder, Feebris
Elina Naydenova started her career as a biomedical & AI engineer, with a PhD in Machine Learning for Healthcare Innovation from Oxford University.
She has worked on bringing transformational healthcare innovation to health systems, at the World Health Organisation and the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
Elina is currently CEO & cofounder of Feebris – a company whose AI-guided platform enables any user to conduct a clinically reliable health assessment at home and identify risk precisely to enable timely intervention. Feebris is currently deployed across 100+ sites in the UK.
